It was Jack Benny all over again!

My temperament thrives on information. Years ago, sitting in a staff meeting with six other associates (making seven) and a senior leader of a new project, I asked question after question, probing for information - much more, as I began to see, than the tenured leader was prepared to answer. I felt sorry for the rattled man, so I apologized by saying, "I'm sorry. One fool can ask more questions than seven wise men can answer." Only his brain under the stress could not calculate quickly enough the placement of numbers and so seemed offended that I would suggest seven wise men could ask more questions than one fool could answer. "Well!" he said. It was a Jack Benny routine all over again!
