25th Year Fitness Running

A medical doctor once told me that he had never known a runner who did not have health problems later in life, but he did not know to answer if they were competitive [performance] runners or fitness runners.

I began fitness running 25 years ago this Spring. I may drop dead tomorrow, but to date, my resting heart rate is usually 44 to 48 which means my heart is strong to pump nutrition and oxygen to every cell in my body. Interestingly, my eyesight improves and my brain is never more alive than when I am running.
