An Old Gunsmoke Rerun

I watched part of an old Gunsmoke rerun recently about a gang of outlaws who came upon an abandoned trunk of Union soldiers' uniforms. They plotted to wear them into the nearby town and declare marshal law. One timid outlaw wondered if the plan would work. The gang leader said his father told him the way to take over a town was to ride in big and talk loud.
