Failed by the Past, Renewed to Look Forward

I love old stuff, museums, portraits, restored relics of the past, including old cars, homes, church buildings, etc.. It is a human nature thing: maybe fear of the future, or perhaps hanging on to less complicated times. But as I have grown a little in grace, the heart and mind of Christ renewed in me daily has focused me more and more away from my past to the present, and on to eternity.
