Too Busy Serving Others, Confessing Need
Teasing wife, Carole, this morning, I told her that I had talked to God about her earlier in my quiet time and that he asked me. “Who is that now?” and that I said, “You know, my wife!” and he said, “Well now, let me check,” then after a pause he said, “Oh yes, but I don’t get to talk to her much any more since she is so busy - she is one of those types, you know, that is very independent and self-reliant, so tends not to need anyone’s help, including mine.”
“Wrong!” Carole interrupted to say.
